How do I care for Kiltane scarves?

t is natural for cashmere to pill over time. You can extend the longevity of your cashmere scarf by using a cashmere comb to gently comb away pilling. Gently wash the scarf by hand at a low temperature (30C°) and lay it flat to dry. Read our care guide for more information.

Can you iron a cashmere scarf?

It’s best not to iron cashmere directly, as heat can damage the fibres. To remove wrinkles, gently steam the scarf or, if using an iron, use the lowest heat setting and always place a cloth between the iron and the cashmere. Steaming is the safest option.
